The District Collector and District Red Cross Society Chairman Dr A Mallikharjuna has been awarded the Red Cross medal by the AP Governor S Abdul Nazeer in a program held at Raj Bhavan on Monday. Dr Mallikharjuna has been recognized for his services in the Visakhapatnam district. The Governor also appreciated the initiatives taken up by the Red Cross Society in the district, such as the massive tree plantation and blood donation campaigns carried out in the area over the past three years. This recognition highlights the positive impact that Dr Mallikharjuna and the Red Cross Society have had in the community through their various service activities.
