The Andhra Pradesh Electronics & Information Technology Agency (APEITA) is currently evaluating the progress of 65 IT companies that signed agreements with the State government during the Global Investors Summit held in March 2023. These companies have pledged a whopping ₹28,000 crores in investments, with the potential to generate employment for approximately 1 lakh individuals. Among the companies are global players from London, Australia, and the United States.

V. Sreedhar Reddy, General Manager of APEITA, announced that the agency is thoroughly reviewing the detailed project reports of these companies to ensure their feasibility. In a bid to raise awareness among students about the available opportunities and their own skillsets, APEITA has planned an awareness campaign and job fair at the Swarna Bharati Indoor Stadium in the city. The event, scheduled for July 21 and 22, aims to provide valuable insights to students from 50 colleges across North Coastal Andhra Pradesh.

To organize the programs, APEITA will collaborate with V Info Technologies, and over 2,500 students are expected to participate. This initiative not only showcases the potential for growth and employment in the IT sector but also highlights Andhra Pradesh’s efforts to attract major investments and foster a thriving ecosystem for innovation and technology.
