Good news for movie enthusiasts! The AP State Fibernet Limited (APSFL) is set to introduce a remarkable feature that allows its customers to watch new movies on the very first day of their release, right from the comfort of their homes. APSFL Chairman, Gowtham Reddy, announced that after successful discussions with film producers, the corporation plans to officially launch this exciting facility at a hotel in Visakhapatnam on June 2, 2023.

With this innovative offering, APSFL will stream the latest movies simultaneously with their theatrical release. However, it’s important to note that only Fibernet subscribers will have access to this feature. Unlike typical OTT platforms, subscribers will need to recharge daily as the service is valid for a period of 24 hours.

Gowtham Reddy further mentioned that the AP Fibernet first day first show service will be formally launched on June 2 in Visakhapatnam, and it will be fully operational within three months. The APSFL team is also in talks with producers of big-budget films and remains hopeful of receiving a positive response.

This new service is expected to significantly benefit people residing in rural areas, as they will no longer need to travel to towns to catch the latest movies. By offering access to new releases from day one, APSFL aims to bridge the gap between urban and rural entertainment options.

The official launch event of this groundbreaking service will be graced by the presence of esteemed personalities such as IT Minister Gudivada Amarnath, actor Sai Roshan, producer C Kalyan, and others. The inaugural movie that will be streamed through this platform is “Nireekshana.” To enjoy this exclusive experience, interested individuals can avail themselves of a subscription priced at Rs. 99, which will grant them 24 hours of access to the movie.

Gowtham Reddy revealed that out of the 11,254 village panchayats, more than 7,600 are already connected with Fibernet. Additionally, plans are underway to expand the network further over the next four years, ensuring an even broader reach and greater accessibility to this remarkable service.

In summary, APSFL’s first day first show feature for Fibernet subscribers brings the excitement of new movie releases directly to the viewers’ homes. By eliminating the need to travel and wait for films to arrive in local theaters, this offering aims to enhance the entertainment experience for subscribers across Andhra Pradesh.
