MVV Satyanarayana Relocates Business to Hyderabad: Balancing Security and Political Commitment

Visakhapatnam MP and prominent real estate developer, MVV Satyanarayana, has announced his decision to relocate his business operations from Visakhapatnam to Hyderabad. This move comes in the aftermath of a distressing incident where his son, wife, and business partner were allegedly kidnapped in the port city last week. While his family and partner were promptly rescued by the police following his complaint, the MP expressed concerns about the negative comments being directed towards the YSRCP government in Andhra Pradesh.

Speaking to the media, Satyanarayana emphasized the presence of good governance in Visakhapatnam under the YSRCP administration, noting the city’s significant development since their rise to power. However, he expressed disappointment in rival politicians who have tarnished his reputation by leveling baseless allegations against his real estate ventures. He specifically mentioned the inappropriate comments made by fellow MP Raghu Rama Krishnam Raju, which deeply disturbed him and influenced his decision to relocate his business activities.

Highlighting the need to dissociate himself from the negative associations being made, Satyanarayana asserted the cleanliness of his business practices and urged for a CBI inquiry into the kidnapping incident. While acknowledging Visakhapatnam as a peaceful city, he rejected the notion that the incident reflected a deterioration of law and order, emphasizing that the police swiftly apprehended the kidnappers within two hours.

Having launched a real estate venture in Hyderabad last year, the MP shared his plans to develop two gated communities in the outskirts of the city. Satyanarayana further clarified that he has undertaken 100 projects in Visakhapatnam without any consumer cases registered against him. Despite facing severe criticism from opposition parties and vested interests who have sought to link his real estate business with politics, he reassured that he would complete the ongoing projects in Visakhapatnam as scheduled.

The MP alleged that the kidnapping was orchestrated by individuals named Hemanth and Rajesh, both of whom have multiple criminal cases pending against them. He distanced himself from Hemanth, asserting that he had no contact with him and invited verification of his phone call records to substantiate his claim. Satyanarayana expressed frustration at the attempts to connect him with accused individuals involved in various cases related to Erra Gangireddy of Rayalaseema.

As Satyanarayana takes the step to relocate his real estate business to Hyderabad, he hopes to shield the YSRCP government from unwarranted negative attention. Despite the challenges he has faced, the MP remains committed to his political endeavors in Andhra Pradesh, aiming to contribute to the welfare and progress of the state.
