The Kogatam Warriors scored 143 runs in 19.5 overs, with KSS Ankit contributing 32 runs, defeating the Sarvana Sluggers, who managed 122 runs in 18.2 overs, with M Raju Kullayappa scoring 29 runs. In another match, the Spartans scored 148/7 in 20 overs, with G Sampath Kumar leading the way with 42 runs. However, they lost to Anantha Rising Stars, who chased down the target in just 14.1 overs, reaching 151/1. P Arjun Tendulkar played a crucial role with an unbeaten 66 runs.
Meanwhile, the All Vizag Chess Association, in collaboration with the All India Chess Federation, launched a free chess training program for children at the Government Home for Girls in Visakhapatnam. Supported by the Ken Foundation, the program aims to introduce 30 girls to the game of chess. The inauguration of the program was done by K Sunitha, the Superintendent of the Home for Girls. The training will be supervised by senior coaches V Srikanth, M Ramakrishna, and AVCA secretary S. Manikanta Rao.
