The MPL 2, a cricket league exclusively for doctors in Visakhapatnam and neighboring districts, is all set to begin on May 27. Organized by the Vizag Doctors Cricket Committee, the league will see 135 doctors from different specialties divided into nine teams, competing at the Railway Stadium and Port Stadium. Visakha Crime Police, led by DCP (Crime) G. Naganna, have successfully busted a chain theft ring in Vizag, apprehending ten suspects, including a father-son duo involved in multiple thefts. A total of 31 tolas of gold ornaments were recovered in connection with eleven chain theft cases across the city.
