The Indian Navy's Kilo-class submarine, INS Sindhuratna, successfully completed a grueling 97-day voyage from Russia to Mumbai, covering almost 10,000 miles. The submarine, which underwent a major upgrade in Russia, faced transportation challenges due to the conflict in Ukraine. Despite setbacks, the Navy decided to sail the submarine back on its own. Its arrival marks an important milestone in enhancing the Navy's capabilities and submarine operations in the Indian Ocean Region.
Visakha Crime Police, led by DCP (Crime) G. Naganna, have successfully busted a chain theft ring in Vizag, apprehending ten suspects, including a father-son duo involved in multiple thefts. A total of 31 tolas of gold ornaments were recovered in connection with eleven chain theft cases across the city.
