In an effort to ease traffic congestion and ensure smooth travel, authorities have implemented several diversions in the Anandapuram area, leading to significant disruptions for motorists and travelers.

All vehicles destined for Visakhapatnam Railway Station, Airport, RTC Complex, and Gajuwaka are being redirected to NAD via Pendurthi from Anandapuram. This diversion aims to alleviate congestion and provide a more efficient route for commuters.

Moreover, heavy vehicles leaving the city en route to Srikakulam and Vizianagaram must now take the Gajuwaka-Kurmannapalem-Lankelapalem-Anakapalli-Sabbavaram-Pendurthi-Anandapuram route. Authorities emphasize the importance of adhering to this new route for the smooth flow of traffic.

To manage the anticipated heavy traffic congestion at the NAD intersection, vehicles originating from Gajuwaka must use the Sheilanagar-Kota Narava-Kothapalem route to reach Gopalapatnam High School intersection. Those heading towards Gopalapatnam should take the Vimannagar-Yallapuvanipalem-Adarshanagar-Chandranagar route.

Emergency vehicles en route to Arilova Health City are advised to travel via Adarsh Nagar Old Dairy Farm to reach their destination promptly.

Meanwhile, a strict prohibition on vehicles has been imposed from Adivivaram Junction to Hanumantuwaka National Highway. Motorists are advised to reroute through Arilova to reach the Adarshnagar Junction, bypassing the restricted area.

Additionally, vehicles traveling from Venkojipalem towards Appughar will be temporarily restricted from using the road. Alternative routes must be sought to reach their desired destinations.

For those traveling from Anakapalli to Srikakulam and Vizianagaram, the traditional route via Visakha has been suspended. Instead, motorists must take the Anakapalli-Sabbavaram-Pendurthi-Anandapuram route to reach their desired locations.

Commuters entering Visakhapatnam from Gajuwaka are urged to use the Old Gajuwaka-New Gajuwaka-Malkapuram-Convent intersection route to access the city center.

Furthermore, motorists arriving from the airport should follow the Kakaninagar-Saketpuram-Ashokpark-Ashavanipalem-104 junction-Kancharapalem route to enter the city.

Authorities have assured citizens that if they complete their errands before 1 pm on Sundays and return home promptly, inconveniences caused by the traffic diversions will be minimized.

The authorities urge all residents and travelers to stay updated with the latest traffic advisories and plan their journeys accordingly to avoid unnecessary delays and congestion.
