Visakhapatnam city police have apprehended two individuals in connection with two distinct cases. In the first case, P. Satish (32) was arrested by the IV Town (Crime) police for allegedly snatching gold chains weighing three tolas from a woman near Railway New Colony. Acting on a complaint, the police received a tip-off and successfully apprehended the accused as he was attempting to escape by boarding a train at Visakhapatnam railway station. Satish, a first-time offender, confessed that he committed the offense to clear his debts accumulated from online betting. The accused is originally from West Godavari.

In the second case, A. Krishna (30) from Town Hall Road was arrested for illegally entering a house in Ram Nagar, located within the III Town police station limits. Krishna allegedly stole property worth approximately ₹1.85 lakh, including gold chains, mobile phones, and watches.
